Arabic is the official language. However English is widely spoken at business, hotels and banks.

Islam is official religion, but freedom of worship is assured to all.

Currency is UAE Dirham which is divided into 100 fils. Paper denominations are 5,10,20,50,100,500,1000. In addition to 1 Dirham coin, metal coins come in 5,10,25 and 50 denominations. 1 USD = 3.68 Dirhams.
Climate
Summer extends from May to September during which the weather is hot and sometimes humid. Winter begins in October and till April the weather is very pleasant.
